Craig Curry is a lifelong resident of Marion County and a vigilant public servant.

Curry served as mayor of Ocala from 1985 to 1990. He was president of the Ocala City Council, president of the Marion County Chamber of Commerce, and chairman of the Economic Development Council among many other community and nonprofit organizations.

Curry owned and operated an independent insurance agency for more than 40 years. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and is a retired officer in the Army National Guard, in which he served six years.

Commissioner Curry looks forward to continuing his life in public and civic service on the Marion County Commission.
