The Ocala/Marion County Continuum of Care (CoC) is a membership, planning, and oversight body for the designated geographic region of Marion County. CoCs are designed to promote a community-wide commitment to ending homelessness, provide funding for efforts to rapidly re-house homeless individuals and families, promote access to and effective use of mainstream programs, and optimize self-sufficiency among individuals and families experiencing homelessness in accordance with HUD regulation 24 CFR 578. 

 Ocala/Marion CoC Local Priorities: 

Priority 1: Reduction in Length of Time Homeless 

Priority 2: Increase in Successful Permanent Housing Placement 

Priority 3: Decrease in Returns to Homelessness
