Fiscal Year 2024 Project Applications

Funding Opportunity

HUD has released the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), for the Fiscal Year FY 2024-2025 CoC Program Competition on, Thursday, August 1, 2024, and we invite all State government agencies, Special district governments, Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status, City or Township governments, and County government agencies to apply if interested. The Ocala/Marion County CoC, FL-514 has drafted an RFP that will outline all local priorities, process, and evaluation. Please keep an eye on this page as, new information and changes will be posted here. 

Current Timeline of Important Dates

• Aug. 2: Public notice distribution

• Aug. 20: Anticipated request for proposals distribution

• Aug. 22: Office hours, 9 -11 a.m., Headquarters-Ocala Public Library, meeting room B, 2720 E Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL 34470

• Aug. 23: Office hours, 2-4 p.m., Growth Services Main Training Room, 2710 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL 34470

• Sept. 27: Project applications are due to the collaborative applicant by 5 p.m. 

• Oct. 1: Rank and Review Committee receives applications for review 

• Oct. 11: Board of Governors Meeting to approve NOFO applications

**Due to Hurrican Milton, the Board of Governors meeting has been canceled for October 11th**

• Oct. 22: Rescheduled Board of Governors Meeting to approve NOFO applications 

• Oct. 29: Notice is provided regarding local approval/denial

• Nov. 8: Collaborative applicant is scheduled to submit the FY 2024-25 CoC application

• Nov. 12: The application will be posted on the website.
